In January 2024 six Queensland Rail stations closed temporarily to begin major accessibility upgrades.

Key features of these upgrades include new lifts, footbridges, raised platforms, upgraded security, and much more.

Four stations are complete, with Burpengary, Bundamba, Lindum and Morningside now open to customers.

Two stations remain closed and under construction with their reopening scheduled for late-2024 and early-2025; Banyo and Buranda

Alternative transport options are in place to minimise disruptions. Check your station's service update below to find out more.
